This set of 10 limited edition hand painted 'Decoupage' style wooden place mats were created between 2001-2003 at the Siecle Boutique in Paris, France. The artist Marisa Osorio-Farinha created a limited edition 150 place mats in both 2001 and 2003 using the same style. 9 of the pieces are the limited edition #25 to #33, and the 10th piece is from 2001, limited edition #10.

Each unique gold painted square piece (12.25") is decorated with a pomegranate, grasshopper, snail, leaves all atop a plate with chestnuts below the plate.
